When families get together in the home, it isn't necessarily the case that they will head straight to the living room. Many will now opt to congregate in the kitchen and it therefore makes sense to invest in making kitchens look as good and as functional as possible. Recent research from insurance company LV has shown that the average British kitchen is now worth almost £4,000, making it typically the most expensive room in the home.
